On this week’s performance show of So You Think You Can Dance, we found out that Ashleigh dislocated her shoulder and the medical people would not release her to perform. So poor Russell, her partner, had to once again dance with a last minute stand-in partner for two different dance styles. He is such a good dancer and adapts so well, he did a wonderful job on both of them!

On this week’s So You Think You Can Dance the level of dance talent and performance quality was, in my opinion, at an all-time high. This season has some of the most amazing overall dancers ever to be on the show. It’s so incredibly difficult to see any of them eliminated at this point in the season.

Now that we’ve had half of the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance to get used to a permanent third judge, Adam Shankman, I thought it would be a good idea to pause and reflect on how it has affected the show.

After making series history by putting three tap dancers in the So You Think You Can Dance season 6 Top 20, all three have been eliminated early in the competition. I really loved the personalities of all three of the tap dancers and had high hopes for Peter as the last one to go. But sadly, the rest of the dancers are just so darned amazing!

Last night on So You Think You Can Dance, we saw the top 16 dancers perform and I was so mesmerized by the dance that I backed up the TiVo and watched each of them at least twice. The show is better than ever this season and it’s going to be tough to see anyone go home tonight.

This week, I am burning mad at my TiVo! It messed up and didn’t record So You Think You Can Dance for me. That wouldn’t be so bad if it were only a show that gets played on the web so I could watch it later. But for some insane reason, FOX does not put SYTYCD on the web after it airs. And none of the episodes are ever re-run, so I’ll never get to watch the dance performances from this week. I hate that!!!

I’m always a bit bummed out when the first two couples are sent home on a new season of So You Think You Can Dance. By the time we get to the Top 20, I’m always in love with watching all the dancers and hate, really HATE to see anyone have to leave…especially after only one performance!

Last night on So You Think You Can Dance, we found out the terrible news that Billy, one of the original season 6 Top 20 Dancers became ill and had to drop out of the competition. I’m very disappointed, because I thought Billy was one of the most promising dancers out of the most amazing group ever. I’m sorry we won’t get to see more from him.
