Dancing Men Among Sexiest Men in 2009 Too
December 29, 2009 by Lynn

It’s no surprise that a number of hot male dancers made Buddy TV’s Top 100 Sexiest Men of 2009 list too. In fact, I’m in total agreement about nearly all of these.
French actor Gilles Marini placed the highest of the male dancers on the list. (No offense to anyone, but why can’t my neighbors look like him and shower outside…)
#66 Ryan Di Lello, So You Think You Can Dance
Some people might think all male dancers are lithe, slightly effeminate and delicate dancers. Not Ryan. This ballroom stud is a macho, muscular extreme sports enthusiast whose …read more
Derek Hough Tries to Avoid Snow
December 22, 2009 by Lynn
Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Derek Hough was spotted by paparazzi in midtwon Manhattan just as he stepped out of a taxi today. He’s carrying a small box of something in his hand and looks like he might be pretty cold.
These photos were taken today as the snow and ice are still holding the East Coast in their grips. Derek spends a lot of his time on the West Coast in the warmer weather, so he tried to step over the snow. Perhaps he chose to wear the wrong shoes for the weather. But he still looks great, right …read more
DWTS Dancers Celebrated Sean Combs’ Birthday
November 20, 2009 by Lynn
Three people that Dancing With the Stars fans will recognize were guests at a huge star-studded birthday bash yesterday for hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. DWTS pro dancer Derek Hough was there and so were former DWTS star dancers Shannon Elizabeth & Kim Kardashian. This makes me wonder how they know the birthday boy. But I’m sure they all had a great time.

Last night on the Dancing With the Stars results show, we got a huge surprise when Joanna Krupa was eliminated from the competition. She was ranked second on the judges’ leader board, but just didn’t get the home audience’s votes. She’s a beautiful lady and a really good dancer.
So now we know who the final three couples are in the season finale next week. Mya & Dmitry Chaplin, Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amstel and Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson will all go head to head for the coveted mirror ball trophy. I love all three, but expect …read more

On tonight’s performance show of Dancing With the Stars, each of the couples had to dance 3 dance routines. this week, one pair will go home and the other three will advance to next week’s finals. It’s a fantastic season and I can’t wait o see all of them!
Here’s what happened with last night’s performances:

Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson – Sadly, this routine seemed awkward and poorly executed to me. Donny just isn’t the smoldering romantic type. He was more believable as the romantic when he and judge Bruno Tonioli were joking around. I hope his next …read more
Dancing With the Stars: Dance Center Returns!
November 11, 2009 by Lynn
One of my favorite segments each season on Dancing With the Stars is Dance Center with Kenny Mayne, Jerry Rice & Len Goodman. On last night鈥檚 results show, they were joined by special correspondent, Stacy Keibler. It was hilarious, as usual…and there was much to learn:
Donny Osmond has not yet fainted on the ballroom floor.
Contrary to popular thought, Donny & Bruno have a strictly platonic Celebrity/Judge relationship.
Aaron Carter is a crybaby. [Jerry: There鈥檚 no crying in ballroom!]
Aaron鈥檚 fragile like a snowflake resting on a lily.
Joana Krupa is Polish and needs some polish for her dance moves.
Kelly Osbourne is the Princess …read more

Last night on the Dancing With the Stars results show, we got to see Susan Boyle sing her amazing song, I Have a Dream. She was wonderful! Michael Buble also performed a couple of his songs and sounded as great as ever too.
But the down side to the show last night was the fact that anyone had to go home. I’ve been enjoying these final five dancers so much this season. It’s a shame any of them had to leave. Aaron Carter, who for some reason just hasn’t had the audience votes …read more
Dancing With the Stars 9: Performances Recap
November 10, 2009 by Lynn

On tonight’s performance show of Dancing With the Stars, the pairs had to do two dance routines each. They had to go head-to-head in the ballroom and in Latin dance styles and I loved it! This is the last week before the semi-finals and the competition is getting fierce.
I’m thrilled to report that my favorite commentary of all, Kenny Mayne’s Dance Center will return. Susan Boyle & Michael Buble will also perform for us. Don’t miss tomorrow’s results show!!
Here’s the rundown of last night’s performances:

Ballas Hough Band Performance on DWTS
November 4, 2009 by Lynn
[Image: Amazon.com]
On last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show, Mark Ballas & Derek Hough performed their song Move as the Ballas Hough Band.
They danced along with it and reminded me of a two-man “boy band.” And there’s nothing wrong with that! A lot of big singers have gotten their start in groups like N’Sync or New Kids on the Block. I think they have a big future in music as well as in dance. Watch and see what you think:
Dancing With the Stars 9: Two More Go Home

This was both a spectacular and a sad week on Dancing With the Stars for me. The dancing reached an all-season high this week, but we lost two very cool stars.
Michael Irvin was eliminated and it happened just as he got his highest scores of the season. He did a very nice job this week in his performances, but the others did too.
But it’s down to the final five after this week, so it gets tougher to lose anyone. Even though Michael wasn’t the strongest dancer all season, he brought a lot of heart to the competition. It’s …read more
