Saltare (Raleigh, NC): These professional jump ropers are seeking exposure for their sport while at the same time conquering the dance world. They have walked away from their college degrees and steady jobs in pursuit of a dream: to become professional jump ropers and pioneers of a burgeoning sport. Legendary Seven (Boston, MA): Legendary Seven is proud to call the hard streets of Boston home and are quick to tell you they are one of the last true Bean Town street crews. Their performances revolve around breaking, krumping and popping but, most importantly, big tricks. Omarion to Replace Shane Sparks as ABDC Judge

After the horrible news that choreographer Shane Sparks had been arrested, the producers of America’s Best Dance Crew had no choice but to replace him as a judge on the show. At least until the outcome of his legal issues. I’m still hoping for the best for him.
So today, we finally got word of the replacement judge’s identity. Singer Omarion will join Lil’ Mama & JC Chasez as the third judge for season 5 of ABDC. He looks like he’ll be a good choice in the judges’ seat and I can’t wait for the new season.

Earlier this week, I told you about the open auditions for the next season of America’s Best Dance Crew. There are six audition dates coming up and I want to be sure you get a chance to have your crew try out.

America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5 Open Auditions

The auditions are about to begin again for the fifth season fo America’s Best Dance Crew. They are lookiong for crews that can top the extremely high standards set by the first four seasons of the show.
They are looking for crews that have from 5 to 7 members and with all members over the age of 18. But they might be open to a crew with 8 members, so be sure to contact them to see if you could be considered with 8.

America’s Best Dance Crew 5 Casting Call!

Does your dance crew have all the right moves and you think you could be a real contender on the next season of America’s Best Dance Crew? Well, get your video recorder going and make an audition tape to send to the show.
There will be open casting calls for the 5th season of ABDC coming up, but for the moment, you can send in your audition tape to try out now. Here’s the official site with all the details.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we are about to experience the very first dance reality TV trifecta. Once Dancing With the Stars season 9 premieres on September 21st, we’ll get to watch weekly episodes of DWTS, So You Think You Can Dance & America’s Best Dance Crew each week for a short while. Just as we are getting ready for the season 5 finale of So You Think You Can Dance on Thursday August 6 on FOX, we are also getting ready for the season 4 permiere of America’s Best Dance Crew on Sunday, August 9 on MTV. So the most logical guest performers of all on SYTYCD would be the very first winners of ABDC. And that’s just what we were given last night.
