Get Ready for the Superstars of Dance
Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer of So You Think You Can Dance & American Idol, along with American Idol judge and producer Simon Cowell have created what may be another hit reality competition for us. And they’ve brought it to a new network. Their other shows have been on FOX, but the new Superstars of Dance will be on NBC.

Reality Winter Shows – Lots of New Series Coming Soon

This time of the year, the prime-time shows go into a repeat pattern and a lot of reality shows wind down. It’s because people tend to be very caught up in the holidays and end of year activities and don’t watch TV as much. Yes, we just started a new season of Secret Millionaire and Top Chef 5, but not much else is happening in the world of reality TV for the next couple of weeks.

Tom Bergeron Helped Host the Emmys

Tom Bergeron, host of Dancing With the Stars, helped host last night’s Emmy Awards Show. He, along with the other four Emmy nominees in the category of Best Reality Host offered their comedy, their winning personalities and their hosting abilities to the show and it added just the right touch of humor to an otherwise serious event. Reality Hosts Spiced Up the Emmys

The first-ever Emmy nominees for Outstanding Reality Show Host were a big part of tonight’s Emmy Award Show. They brought their own humor and fun styles to the show and it was a great celebration of an overdue new Emmy category.
