On last night’s results show for Dancing With the Stars, Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin was eliminated. This reminds me of when Sabrina Bryan was sent home far too early in season 6. Everyone must have been voting for the underdogs to keep them in the competition and forgot that the strong dancers need votes too. I’ts horrible to see her go so soon.
She has a few things to learn about partner checmistry, but her moves were strong and right where they should be. This is the sad thing about the audience having 50% of the vote. and it’s …read more

On last night’s performance show of Dancing With the Stars, the dancers had to bring the intensity. Some danced the Paso Doble, some did the Argentine Tango. It was a great night of dancing.

Natalie Coughlin & Alec Mazo – Her moves were quite powerful, but lacked the staccatto that they needed. I thought it was a really good performance, though.

Dancing With the Stars 9: Week 4 Performances

On last night’s performance show of Dancing With the Stars, we were introduced to four new dance styles for the show; Lambada, Charleston, Bolero and Country Two-Step. Two of them were completely unfamiliar to me, so it’s hard to know if they got them right or not, but they were all very entertaining. With the new styles, the dancers were given the permission to do lifts, where they make sense with the dance. It was an interesting night, indeed.

October 12, 2009 by Lynn

Melissa Joan Hart & Mark Ballas stopped to talk to an interviewer from TV Guide about last week’s Dancing With the Stars eliminations. They talked about how tough it is to see their friends leave and how it gets progressively lonelier as the pairs dwindle down. Melissa talks about some of the unsolicited advice she gets about her dancing too.
Then Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova give their reaction to the way the judges seem to be so tough on them. Michael also talks about how he feels with Tom leaving the competition. Anna tells what Michael is like to …read more

Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa were interviewed by TV Guide after last week’s results show for Dancing With the Stars. They talked a bit aobut their feelings at having to wait so long to find out they were still in the competition and Joanna says that she’s concerned that her fan base isn’t big enough to keep her in for the long haul. And Derek lets us know how the show’s cast relaxes when they aren’t dancing.
Then Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amstel stalk about how hard it is to be one of the final two pairs to find …read more

Tonight was Latin night on Dancing With the Stars. The dancers had to perform either the Rumba or the Samba. One is hot, slow and romantic, the other is red-hot and lively. It was a lot of fun to see another side of some of the dancers.

This was a fun Dancing With the Stars results show that started with the judges’ choice dance of the week, Mya & Dmitry Chaplin’s Jive.
Eleven of the couples were only separated by three points with the judges’ scores, so it was anyone’s week to go home. While we were on the edge of our seats, waiting to find out if our favorites would stay for another week, Joss Stone, the USC Trojan Marching Band & Selena Gomez each performed for us.
After some amazing performances by the pro dancers, we finally got to find out that Kathy Ireland & …read more
Dancing With the Stars 9: Week Two Performances

Tonight was the first time on this season of Dancing With the Stars where all the dancers danced together in one night. They each performed one of three dance styles; Jive, Quickstep or Tango. Some were amazingly better than last week…some just don’t seem to have as much coordination as the others. Overall, it was a very fun night of dance.

Joanna Krupa & Derk Hough – She wasn’t as graceful this time, she danced with flat feet. It wasn’t a very challenging routine and she still seemed a bit hesitant.

During last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show, two of the stars were sent home. Macy Gray, who just didn’t seem to enjoy the style of dance and Ashley Hamilton, who should be very proud of himself for being able to perform at all after he had been wheelchair bound in the past, were both eliminated.
It was an exciting kickoff week for the ninth season of the show and it will be fun to see who makes to the end and who goes home next.
Find out about all of this season’s dancers. Here are their bios.
Dancing With the Stars 9: Monday Men’s Performances
[Photos: Newsom]
Tonight’s season premiere of Dancing with the Stars began with one of the hottest jive routines I’ve seen in a long time. It was all of this season’s male professional dancers and I just have to say that DWTS has some of the hottest men on TV! And Wow! Was it ever a fun dance!
Then we were told that the couples to perform tonight would be the male stars and their partners. Tomorrow night will be the female stars and on Wednesday night, during the results show, two couples will be eliminated. It’s a BIG week for dance on …read more
