In this first clip, Albert talks to Mary Murphy, judge for So You Think You Can Dance about her dance number on this summer’s season finale. She told him she thinks she’s still got everything… ;-)

And here, Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer & judge for So You think You Can Dance talks about how reality TV has become such a broad definition. And he poses the question about whether it’s really reality, since everyone’s performing…

Misty May-Treanor & Maksim ChmerkovskiyThis was another surprising week on Dancing With the Stars. We found out that there were three injuries during rehearsals this week. Derek Hough fell and knocked himself out cold when he hit his head on the floor. Susan Lucci twisted her ankle, but taped it up and performed a jive anyway. And tragically, Olympic athlete Misty May-Treanor tore her achilles tendon!!!

YIKES!! That’s one of the most painful leg injuries possible! Sadly, she had to bow out of the competition because she had to have surgery and doesn’t want to take a chance on ruining her athletic career by delaying the recovery at all. That also means that one of my favorite two male dancers, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, is out too.

It was a bitter sweet repreive for the other dancers because they found out tat no one would be sent home this week because of Misty leaving. But we did find out that the lowest scoring pair was chef Rocco DiSpirito and his partner Karina Smirnoff. That means that next week, the votes from this week will be added in to determine the team to go home.

My two favorite dance teams are still Lance & Lacey and Warren & Kym. I really hope they make it to the finals!

It’s so sad to see Misty taken out of the competition so early! And so tragically!! For an athlete to suffer an injury of this type is very, very serious and I truly hope she makes a full and speedy recovery.
