It’s no surprise that a number of hot male dancers made Buddy TV’s Top 100 Sexiest Men of 2009 list too. In fact, I’m in total agreement about nearly all of these.
French actor Gilles Marini placed the highest of the male dancers on the list. (No offense to anyone, but why can’t my neighbors look like him and shower outside…)

Everyone knows that dancing is great exercise and is the most fun way to stay fit. And it’s also no big secret that Dancing With the Stars & So You Think You Can Dance are neither one lacking in beautiful women. So it’s not big surprise that both shows had several women on Buddy TV’s Top 100 Sexiest Women of 2009 list.

On last night’s season 6 finale of So You Think You Can Dance, we got to see some of the more impressive dance routines of the season and see some amazing guest performances. I started the evening with the high hopes that either Jakob or Russell would win. They were my two most favorite dancers this season. Jakob for his incredible technique, and Russell for being such an inspiration. I would be happy for either outcome.

One of the most wonderful surprises this season on So You Think You Can Dance has been Russell. He’s a krumper with no formal training, but it seems like there’s no style of dance he can’t do. He’s amazing! And he seems like such a very nice and sweet person too.

After the unfortunate elimination of Mollee & Legacy this week on So You Think You Can Dance, the dancers who partnered with them last talk about what it was like to dance with them. Jakob & Ellenore both seem so sweet in this clip.

The second DVD that I reviewed was the Dance Your Ass Off workout. This one stars the show’s choreographer, Lisa, SYTYCD season 2 Top 20 dancer, Jesús Solorio, DYAO season 1 winner Ruben and his professional dance partner Hillary. Here are the sections on the DVD:

Warm Up – Lisa
Disco – Jesus
Latin – Hillary
Hip Hop – Lisa
Cool Down – Lisa

My favorite part of the DVD was the fact that Ruben was one of the dancers. He is very inspiring and he kept adding his own encouraging things throughout the routines.

The head costume designer for So You think You Can Dance, Soyon, gives us this short clip to show us how she designed the costumes for last week’s group dance routine. The choreographer Dave Scott wanted the look to be like Apocalypto and she certainly gave him what he wanted. She’s a genius! Check this out:

After making series history by putting three tap dancers in the So You Think You Can Dance season 6 Top 20, all three have been eliminated early in the competition. I really loved the personalities of all three of the tap dancers and had high hopes for Peter as the last one to go. But sadly, the rest of the dancers are just so darned amazing!

Last night on So You Think You Can Dance, we found out the terrible news that Billy, one of the original season 6 Top 20 Dancers became ill and had to drop out of the competition. I’m very disappointed, because I thought Billy was one of the most promising dancers out of the most amazing group ever. I’m sorry we won’t get to see more from him.
We also found out that Russell’s dance partner Noelle seriously injured her knee in rehearsal and had to sit out the performance for the night. If she’s …read more
