Dancing With the Stars Dancers at America’s Best Dance Crew Finale

And guess who Albert Lawrence ran into at the season finale of America’s Best Dance Crew. Apparently, several of the dancers from Dancing With the Stars were there for the inspiration.
In this first clip, he talks to Lil Kim and her DWTS partner Derek Hough. Derek says that ABDC is one of his favorite shows and that he was thrilled to get to be at the finale. Kim talks about how excited she is to be dancing this season and Derek talks about his new album. It’s a fun interview:

Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough Together Again

Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth are apparently still hanging out together, and dancing together. Just because Shannon’s time on Dancing With the Stars is over, the two haven’t stopped spending time together. Here are a couple of fun photos taken of them on May 15 as they walked out of a dance studio together.
Hottie Derek Hough sure seems to have a fun-loving spirit. I really like this photo taken of him being totally spontaneous.

Dancing With the Stars 6: Shannon Says Goodbye

This week was a tough one on Dancing With the Stars. We saw Christián de la Fuente injure his arm during a dance routine and after tests and x-rays, he decided to continue in the competition.
But then, a surprising thing happened. Shannon Elizabeth was eliminated from teh competition. I was surprised that Christián wasn’t eliminated because of the injury, but with the remaining dancers all being so good, it’s anyone’s week to go home every time now.
It was good to see how much she grew as a dancer this season and I really do suspect that she and Derek Hough have developed some sort of romantic feelings….
It’s a shame to see her gone, and I wish her all the best!

Dancing With the Stars 6: This Week’s Performances

This week on Dancing With the Stars, the stars had an extra challenge, having to not only learn their performance dance, but also learn and perform a group dance. There was another first for the season: the first perfect scoring performance!
First, Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas danced a perfect jive number. Who knew that the addition of the geeky specs on Mark Ballas would make him look so dramatically different?

What do the dancers from Dancing With the Stars do after the live elimination show? Why, they go out partying, of course! Last night, many of them went to a nightclub called Velvet Margarita and the paparazzi caught them leaving. Here are several videos of them taken by those pesky paps. Dancing With the Stars 6: Waltz & Paso Doble

The most unusual “dance” of the night was definitely that of Adam Carolla and his pro partner Julianne Hough. They were dancing the paso doble, and Adam made his grand entrance riding on a unicycle. Don’t ask me why, he just did.
My favorite comment by one of the judges was when Carrie Ann Inaba said that it was “dramatic, and smooth and the turns were great…and then he got off the unicycle.” Perfect! Click on “Read More” for this and the other performance videos.
