Dancing With the Stars 7: The New Cast of Dancers!

This morning, as promised, ABC announced the season 7 cast of celebrity dancers on Dancing With the Stars. There were some surprises and one very expected choice among the names. Here are the new dancers and their professional partners:
- Lance Bass, formerly of *NSYNC will be paired with So You Think You Can Dance 3 finalist Lacey Schwimmer.
- Toni Braxton, hit singer and actress will be dancing with Alec Mazo.
- Brooke Burke, former host of Rock Star: INXS & Rock Star: Supernova, will be paired with Derek Hough.
- Rocco DiSpirito, celebrity chef, will be dancing with Karina Smirnoff.
- Maurice Greene, Olympic track star, will be dancing with Cheryl Burke.
- Kim Kardashian, of Keeping up with the Kardashians teams up with Mark Ballas.
- Cloris Leachman, EMMY Award winner, will partner with Mark’s father, Corky Ballas.
- Cody Linley, the youngest contestant ever to compete on the show and best known for his role on Hannah Montana, will dance with Julianne Hough.
- Susan Lucci, from All My Children, teams with Tony Dovolani.
- Misty May-Treanor, Beach Volleyball Olympic champion will be partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
- Ted McGinley, of Married…with Children, Hope & Faith & Happy Days teams up with newcomer Inna Brayer.
- Jeffrey Ross, comedian, teams with Edyta Sliwinska.
- Warren Sapp, Superbowl Champion defensive tackle, is teamed with Kym Johnson.
The season will premiere on September 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET and will begin the three night premiere event where two celebrities will go home.

Ok, I am absolutely fine with everyone on this list except Kim. Since when does this show glorify porn stars. I mean seriously lets be honest, Kim got her “fame” from a sex tape. How is she worthy of being named a star? This is horrible. I will definitely make sure I vote for everyone but her so she can be the first one to get the boot. This is a family show for crying out loud. What are they going to show about her accomplishments when they introduce her? The clip of her and Ray J??? DWTS couldn’t get anyone else - this isn’t a porn star dance show!

I have always loved watching Dancing with the Stars. However I find that keeping in a celebrity that should not be there at all is terrible. Keeping Cloris who is not only a terrible dancer but her antics and trying to steal the spotlight all the time are not the least bit funny. Those who could have improved if they had been kept in the show were sent home and Cloris was kept. What is wrong with this picture. Very Disappointing
