So You Think You Can Dance: Comfort & Thayne Leave

Tonight we found out that the bottom three couples this week were Comfort & Thayne, Twitch & Kherington and Will & Jessica. The minute we found out who the three pairs were, I knew it was going to be Thayne & Comfort to go home. Don’t get me wrong, I think Thayne is terrific! He is a wonderful dancer and he has that amazing personality that makes him so fun to watch. I will truly miss his smile!

And Comfort is a fantastic hip-hop dancer. And she’s beautiful to boot! But it became obvious that she didn’t have the level of training the other dancers have. The competition was simply out of her grasp.
I was also stunned to see Will, Twitch & Kherington in the bottom three. I knew they were safe this week. Like I said in yesterday’s post, I expect the three of them to be in the final four. Jessica, I’m afraid, may be next to go home unless she really pulls one out of a hat next week. She too is out of her league.
But now we know who the final 10 dancers are. They are the performers we’ll see on the tour this year. I can’t wait!!

I hate to say it but I called this one. After their performances, I knew at least comfort was going home. She needs more training but I do have respect for her for making it this far. I’m actually rooting for the hip hop dancers, although just voting for Joshua =)
I have to say though out of the bottom 3 guys, it was a tough choice for the judges and I had to agree with Nigel that 2 girls should have gone instead of Thayne.
Twitch - this boy blew my mind last night. He is simply amazing at what he does. I could not believe his movement and just how great he was. =)
The show only gets tougher from here so I’m hoping Joshua continues to work hard and stay n the game…..love this show.

I just want to add that I too was very surprised to see Will in the bottom 3. But wasn’t his solo amazing? He is awesome. Oh and I agree Jessica should have been gone. Katee is just amazing as well. I love to watch her dance. And she is so humble.

I Was most definatley PISSED to see Comfort go. To be a strict hip-hop dancer with no other strong forms of dance training to go that far, and attempt the performances that she did, is just phenomonal to me. She KILLED that performance and it was just bullsh*t to me to hear what the judges had to say. The connection was very evident. The only reason why i would believe they did not fully have a connection was because she was brushing him off! & if they understood the phrase they performed it was evident that the connection being reserved during the performance was all part of the final outcome: She was Married! thats why she was brushing him off….Damn Brilliant & they obviously failed to see that. It just really pissed me off to see her go! I Would love to work with her! O yea Thayne, Good job!
