Step It Up & Dance: The Final Four!

Since we last saw the dancers, they’ve been very busy with their careers. First, they got to perform Thriller for the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s mega-hit live in New York City. (I do wish we had gotten to see the entire dance…)
And we saw each of them and the projects they’ve been working on bfore coming back for the finale. Plays, films, commercials…lots of great projects. They all really are wonderfully talented.
I was touched by Cody’s story, though. He had a dance partner hit by a car, then a girlfriend die and on the anniversary of her death, his house burned down. Holy Smokes!! They guy has been through the mill! And still he’s a wonderful performer…perhaps even because of the hardships, who knows?
Then the dancers found out that the series’ main judges would be their final choreographers and they would create a dance to go with the Michael Jackson song Man in the Mirror.
Each of the dancers ran up against their emotions, their limitations and their inner demons. The dance routine really kicked butt! I loved it! After the group performance, the judges told Nick that he was the winner and decided to send home Janelle.
I think the judges made the right decision. Janelle is still too immature as a dancer, I think. I’m sure she has a great career ahead of her, but just isn’t ready for the level of dance required to win.

I am totally in love with Nick. I started off a Cody fan, but Nick has come such a long way - the emotion he shows when he dances is amazing. I really want to see him take it.
And I was disappointed about the Thriller bit as well, I actually thought I missed an episode because they promoted that they would be working on the Thriller piece.
