Dancing With the Stars 6: Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas Win!!

Tonight, the sixth season of Dancing With the Stars came to an end. This time, I actually enjoyed the finale. It wasn’t two hours of junk leading up to the announcement, it was a reprise of the dances from each of the dancers this season.
We got to see a repeat of the unicycle dance with Adam Carolla & Julianne Hough, and some of the other more memorable dances each of the teams performed.
Early in the show, the lowest scoring team was eliminated. That was Cheryl Burke & Christián de la Fuente. I truly admire his courage to press on in the competition in spite of his injury.
Then, the final two teams performed one more dance, of their own choosing. Each one was given a perfect score of 30. And then the announcement was made. Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas were told they were the winners.
Hurray! Finally, another woman won the show! Kristi was absolutely the one that deserved to win. She mastered every dance style she attempted. She was simply incredible.
Congratulations, Kristi & Mark!! You truly deserved it!!
