SYTYCD Alumni Dating American Idol Star
According to Reality TV World, last season’s third place dancer on So You Think You Can Dance, Lacey Schwimmer is now dating American Idol singer David Cook. And the news has been confirmed by Lacey’s rep who talked to People about it. Last season, she was seriously dating one of the other SYTYCD dancers, Hok Konishi, but they have now broken up.
“Lacey met David during rehearsals and they had an intense chemistry immediately!” gushed a source to OK!. “They were totally flirting and she was joking with him saying, ‘Don’t make your heart rate go up too high.’ They have the same sense of humor.”
“They did get very close during [Idol Gives Back] rehearsals,” Schwimmer’s rep told People. “But now he’s really trying to concentrate on the competition, so they’re taking things very slow.”
“Hok totally noticed and you could tell he was jealous,” a source told OK!. “He was Lacey’s first boyfriend — her first love — but by the end of the [Idol Gives Back] rehearsal Lacey and David exchanged numbers.”

Maybe this explains his blood pressure spike a few weeks ago when he had to go to the ER. Lol. She’s smart to hook up with him. I think he’s got a future way beyond the show.
