Step It Up & Dance: Season Premiere

Last night, Step It Up & Dance premiered and we got to meet 12 amazing dancers. Here’s a video quick intro to each of them:
In this first show of the season, the dancers met the choreographers and had their first challenges. First, the dancers were told they were going out to a club. While there, they danced and drank, then found out that the rest of the people in the club were extras and that their first dance challenge was already underway. The guest judge, Jamie King, was introduced, then had the dancers freestyle so he could divide them into a winning team and an elimination team. They were told that one member of the winning team would be given immunity for next week and one member of the losing team would go home.

Both teams were given choreography for a Spice Girls song and told that they would be performing it later that day. One of the dancers, Nicole, had injured her leg the night before at the nightclub and had to go home because of the torn ligaments and muscle in her leg.
The rest performed their dance routines for the judges, including the second guest judge, Mel B from the Spice Girls. On the winning team, Jessica freaked out when she forgot the steps and ran off the stage. They told her that if she hadn’t been on the winning team, she would have gone home. Then they told Janelle that she was this week’s winner and has immunity next week.
On the losing team, Adrianna was the worst, even losing the steps a few times. She was eliminated.

cody was amazing!!!!
i was in Centre Stage 2 with him and he is so talented and fun to work with. he’s done lots of stuff but still humble…way to go Cod

I was so sad to see Nicole hurt herself. She looked like one of the more interesting dancers on the show.
