Dancing With the Stars 6: Week 2 Performance by the Men

Week two of Dancing With the Stars begain with all of the competing couples performing either a mambo or a quickstep. The first male performer was Steve Guttenberg with his pro partner Anna Trebunskaya. Their mambo was simple and had no special features. The best part was the fact that Steve looked like he was having a ton of fun on the dance floor:

Here’s the quickstep of Christián de la Fuente and his partner Cheryl Burke. He seemed light on his feet and didn’t lose the steps as far as I could see and I really enjoyed the final move. He’s not half bad.
I have to admit it, I really enjoy watching Penn Jillette and his partner Kym Johnson dance. He brings his own style of irreverent with to the dance floor and it’s just fun. Yes, I know that he’s not got perfect footwork and I realize that he isn’t all that graceful, but just like George Hamilton and Jerry Springer in their seasons, he’s fun to watch. I hope he stays on the show for a few more weeks!
The highest scoring dance pair last night was Jason Taylor and his partner Edyta Sliwinska. Their mambo was not only red hot, but it was executed beautifully! See why people are now calling him the “Mambo King.”
What can I say about Adam Carolla and his partner Julianne Hough dancing the mambo? He’s a funny, sarcastic guy and I enjoy watching him off the dance floor, but he just doesn’t seem to have the rhythm right and he is so stiff. I’m afraid that he’s in serious danger…
Last week, Mario and his partner Karina Smirnoff were my favorite pair and I still love to watch them dance. Mario is definitely a contender in my opinion. The quickstep is tough, especially for a beginner and he makes it look effortless. Check it out:

I liked 3 couples performances. They were Mario’s, Jason’s, and Adam’s!!!!
