Dancing With the Stars 6: Women’s Night

The second night of the season of Dancing With the Stars was the six women’s foxtrot and cha-cha performances. Here’s Shannon Elizabeth and her partner Derek Hough. I thought she had a lot of potential, but was still a little stiff in her movements. See what I mean:

Here’s Monica Seles and her pro partner Jonathan Roberts. I thought she acted the dance very well. She also seemed pretty relaxed and it looked like she was enjoying herself, but they didn’t do anything particularly difficult so it’s hard to tell what technique she might really be able to use. Here’s the clip:
This is Marissa Jaret Winokur and her partner Tony Dovolani and their routine. I loved her enthusiasm and who knew the girl could move like that? :-) I liked her and thought that she shows a lot of potential. Check it out:

I agree Shannon was a bit stiff, but I do think she could get better. I really don’t think Monica can - she’s just not a dancer.
