Dancing With the Stars 6: The Men Perform

On the season premiere of Dancing With the Stars, the men performed their first dance routines of the season by doing the foxtrot and the cha-cha. Take a look at each of their techniques and try to keep track each week of how much they improve. This is always one of the most exciting times in a new season of the show, because we get to see the baseline for each dance. And then it’s fun to watch which ones improve the most as the season goes along.
First, here’s Steve Guttenberg and his partner Anna Trebunskaya. He’s actually not that bad for a first performance!
(follow the jump for the rest!)
And here’s Penn Jillette dancing with his partner Kym Johnson. I thought the routine was cute and was surprised at how well a big guy like Penn could move. I expected him to be a big lunk on the dance floor. I was impressed with the stomach slide he did and he even threw in a little “magic” in the end to give the dance a bit of his own personality.
Adam Carolla surprised me too. Who knew the man knew how to move his feet? Yes, he won’t be winning any foxtrot contests soon, but he’s much better than I expected. But poor Julianne Hough, she does have her work cut out for her this season.
