America’s Best Dance Crew: ICONic Goes Home
February 22, 2008 by Lynn

Each week the crews take their performances up a notch. This week was no exception. Here’s how they did:
- Live in Color performed their version of DJ Unk, 2 Step - during the dance they had to exchange clothing - I really liked this routine! They way they exchanged jackets was so cool!
- JabbaWockeeZ performed to Dem Franchize Boyz, Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It - they were told that they would have to create the illusion that they could defy gravity - These guys are flawless!! Amazing!! They are one of my top two favorites in the competition, and from your votes, it’s obvious that they are one of your faves too!
- Kaba Modern performed to Lil Mama, G-Slide - they had to pair up and perform a lift during the dance - Since we are used to perfection from them, I was a tiny bit disappointed this week. The lifts were fairly weak and they were out of sync a tiny bit at one point with their isolations. What did you think?
- Break Sk8 performed to Cupid, Cupid Shuffle - they were told that during a portion of the dance they had to join together and stay physically connected - They did a giant worm! Sick!! They did a really good job. Lil Mama said they were sloppy, but I don’t think they had that many sloppy moves at all.
- Fysh N Chicks performed to Yung Joc, It’s Goin’ Down - they were told to perform some of the steps in reverse - They did a cool “rewind” section of the dance. They were good, but didn’t “WOW!” me this week.
- Status Quo performed to Soulja Boy, Crank Dat - their leader E-Knock was told not to perform this week because of his injured ankle, but he danced anyway - they were told that at some point in the dance they would have to perform the moves upside down - They were fantastic! They were totally better than last week!
- ICONic performed to Webstar, Chicken Noodle Soup - they were told that at some point in their routine that had to perform on their backs - They have come a very long way from their original Broadway-esque dance style. They were really good too!
The judges had to choose one of the bottom two to save this week. What a tough decision! Both of them were amazing! When they had to choose between the dances of Status Quo & ICONic, they chose to save Status Quo.
Did the right crew go home this week? Do you agree with the judges? Leave a comment to share your thoughts!
