America’s Best Dance Crew: Exclusive Scoop
My contact with the show is trying to get me some advance videos like last week, and if it can happen, I’ll post them here right away! So be sure to check back. :-)
But in the mean time, what’s in store for this week’s show? No one knows all the details yet, since the show tapes tomorrow evening, but I do have this scoop for you. Jordan from BreakSk8 injured his knee during last week’s performance and was rushed to the hospital. There’s a chance he may not be available to perform this week. I wonder how that could affect their performance… Be sure to watch to find out! And then, check back here for the recap and to share your thoughts on the performances.

This s*** is rigged!!! How the hell does the fem keep making it through?? Last week they made it over the skaters, then the next over icon??? You’ve got to be kidding me? If they were 5 white girls that could dance, then more power to them; but keeping them just b/c their white girls (irrespective of wheter they can dance or not) is whack and a slap in the face to all of those white girls out their that can dance (like the one in Fish and Chicks).

to me i think that the jabbawockeez is the best group on the show and in my opinion it will be between kabba modern and the jabbawockeez in the finals later on in the sho. they both just keep comin with great performances. but im still gona say that the jabbawockeez still is gona blow those asians back to the uci.

I agree with John. I believe that the jabbawockeez are too clean and extremely creative. Their moves are very crisp. it is definitely between them and the kabba modern. If they don’t make it, then I would know that the show is rigged and I won’t support it for another season.

I think that the best dance crews are the Jabbawokeez & Kaba modern & Statist Quo.I hope they have better dances or as you say challenges for them this Thursday.My brother and I haven’t missed one episode of Americas Best Dance Crew & I think you Randy Jackson for

Jabbawokeez and Kaba modern are in a class by themselves, but breaksk8 is the third best crew. They are amazing. I was happy to see live in color leave the show they did nothing but bootyshake everyshow.

yeah… Jabbawockeez are mostly asians. three filipinos (Phil, Chris and Rynan), one african-american (Kevin), one vietnamese (Phi) and one chinese (Ben). They’re gonna win it!!!

WTF!?!?!?! Status Quo? They do summersaults…and that’s it. I can’t even remember their crew name. Yes, they’re that forgettable. Kaba Modern and Jabbawokeez have carried this whole show. People want to see them, not Sad-ass Quo or sloppy Fish-n-hicks. The finale should’ve been between Jabbawokeez and Kaba Modern had this show been authentic. The show is surely rigged.
Total B.S. The producers probably underestimated Kaba Modern and Jabbawokeez’s talent and just wanted to create an unrealistically diverse competition, one that would “please” the sponsors. The producers probably think they can’t bank on an Asian dominated show/dance competition. Its all about the sponsors & advertising $$$$$$$ ya know. A.K.A. Dunkin Dog Nuts and the like bunch.
For all you we know, SQ’s not even from the streets like the show claims. Maybe male cheerleaders? MTV’s “reality” shows like all reality shows have always been rigged by its producers for ratings.
Just like big corporate America(Viacom/MTV) to exploit these two crews’ talent, ride their wave, and screw them at the end.

I agree with the comment above that Kabba Modern and Jabbawockeez (hopefully not) are getting screwed over by MTV. IT HAS BEEN ALL OVER THE INTERNET THAT MTV HAS RIGGED THE SHOW FOR STATUS QUO TO WIN. AMERICA KNOWS THAT JABBAWOCKEEZ IS THE REAL AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW. WHO KNOWS? ALOT OF TALENTED AMERICAN IDOL” LOSERS” HAVE DONE MUCH BETTER THAN THE “WINNERS” THE BOTTOM LINE IS WHEN SOMETHING IS DONE CROOKED, GOD ALWAYS STRAIGHTENS IT OUT IN THE END.

Nearly Everything on TV is about Money. That’s what keeps the channel up, that’s what pays the bills and employees. If you look back at the year survivor on CBS had that navy seals Senior citizen on their show, rumors has it that they tried to bribe and persuade the other competitors to keep him on the show or else they’ll lose their senior citizen viewers. The same is probably (guessing) happening with Dance Crew on MTV. Having both Kabba and Jabba on the finals would be disgraceful to all the rap video artists and dancers on MTV videos, shows etc that are predominantly black. However all this is just theory. IF it ISN’T rigged, there could be a mathematical explanation to all this. If half the asians vote for jabba and the other half vote for kabba, everyone else who voted for SQ would be a little higher. Most people don’t vote for both Jabba and Kabba in the semi’s. So in that way it can possibly be plausible by an accurate vote count. Still talent has little to do with voting these days unfortunately. But think of it this way, pitting Jabba w/ SQ, only exposes the gifted Jabba group and makes their qualification of champs that much easier and better. In my opinion, tonight’s voting tally is going to be a blowout on Jabba’s side. Enjoy the show everyone and remember, it’s just that… a show.
