The Most Memorable Dance TV Moments of 2007
We’ve come to the end of another year of dance reality TV and it’s been a very eventful one, to be sure. Reality TV dancing has endured one shock after another. I’ve been thinking about my favorite and most frustrating moments in dance reality TV this year and thought that this might be the best time to share them with you. After all, we are about to start another new year of dancing moments. ;-)
- Heather Mills surprised and dazzled us all with her dancing ability, even on only one leg
- That delusional so-called dancer that calls himself “Sex” showed up to audition for So You Think You Can Dance, yet again
- Not one, but two celebrity dancers lost a parent during the Dancing With the Stars’ 5th season. Marie Osmond’s father and Jane Seymour’s mother both passed away during the season
- Benji Schwimmer, last year’s winner of So you Think You Can Dance watched his sister, Lacey make it to the final four dancers
- Marie Osmond passed out on live television, following her dance routine with partner Jonathan Roberts
- Fabulous choreographer, Wade Robson performed on TV for the first time in four years on Dancing With the Stars 5. It was spectacular!!
- The most shocking elimination ever happened when Sabrina Bryan was eliminated so early in the season on Dancing With the Stars 5
- I broke down and cried when Lacey Schwimmer & Neil Haskell danced the contemporary dance choreographed by Mia Michaels for her father on So You Think You Can Dance
And these are just the most obvious ones. There were so many memorable moments in dance reality TV during 2007, it’s hard to narrow it to just a few.
